  1. In the tools window, select the T icon which is the type tool or use the keyboard shortcut T.
  2. Click anywhere on the sequence window to add a text graphic. Type the text you want on screen.
  3. Open up effect controls then open text and also source text. Here you can change all the settings for the text on screen.
  4. You can change font, alignment, colour, outline, shadow, position, size & rotation, and transparency.
